Popularizing the Code of Conduct (COC) for CSOs

Under the project “Strengthening Pluralism, Integrity Diversity Equality and Regularizing CSOs” (SPICE) funded by the Management Systems International (MSI)/IDEA, Civil Society Organizations in 18 District Consortia is engaged in popularizing of the Code of Conduct (COC). Up to now a total of 35 awareness programmes for over 370 NGOs have been completed covering all the 18 districts and 625 persons from 26 Member NGOs and 9 Non-Member NGOs have participated. A cadre of 54 Training of Trainer Group (TOT) who were trained under this project in the 18 Districts conducted these training programmes.

Further, training for the 1st batch of Accreditors was conducted for 24 persons from the above districts and the training for the 2nd batch will take place in November for 30 selected participants.

The two teams will work together for the implementation of COC for CSOs in Sri Lanka. SLCDF in collaboration with NNAF is implementing this project.
